Today we had our first ‘real’ work session of the 2013 year (the last two were just introductions and cleaning out the Autobay for inspection). Everybody is jumping right into projects so that we can get the car road-ready before the first snows come. High on our priority list of things we need to get done are fixing one of our broken mounting plates, and finding an integrated parking brake system which will allow us to both stop and park the car with the same break callipers.

In the meantime, say hello to the new NU Solar team for the 2013-2014 year. We’ve got quite a number of new freshmen coming to the team this year. One thing to notice is the large clumping of people named Alex on the left-hand side (there’s five of them)! We don’t know quite how this happened, but it’s going to make for an interesting year.
