SC7s is an updated version of the SC7 car, and is NUsolar’s latest race-tested vehicle. The chassis and aeroshell provided a base on which the team built updated electrical and software systems, as well as an improved suspension and steering package. SC7s exemplifies the principles of innovation, creativity, and determination, which are central to NUsolar’s mission to empower the next generation of great engineers.

Just like how many of the physical components of SC7 laid the foundation for SC7s, the competitive spirit that drove the team to race with SC7 at the 2019 Formula Sun Grand Prix remained ever present. The team raced with SC7s at the 2023 Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix and received the Perseverance Award for their dedication to ensuring the car was performing at peak levels.

Going forward, the team will continue to learn from and improve on SC7s, and continue the tradition of racing laid out by our predecessors.
