NUsolar visits Dewey Elementary School

The Northwestern Solar Car Team visited Dewey Elementary School fifth graders in Evanston, on Feb. 26. Showing videos and pictures of solar cars and letting students play with sample materials that are used in the car. Alexander Martin and Ben Donahue, McCormick junior students at Northwestern University, explained how to build a solar car, the challenges solar cars face with and the complicated future of this new-energy-driven type of vehicle.

    When and where will your next elementary school demonstration be held? I know of a child that is very interested in learning more about solar cars.
