Here’s an update on what we’ve been working on recently:

The general design for our next generation car has been decided! We broke into 3 teams and designed several different models, then analyzed them all with modeling software to determine which would be the most aerodynamic. The next step, which will be underway in the new year, is do an in depth CAD model of the car that will allow us to build it.

We’ve also taken apart SC5 and stored it in our garage. We’re preparing for the design and installation of our new electrical system. We will use SC5 to make sure the system is working properly before the next car arrives, and then we can easily transfer it over.
