Kenilworth Memorial Day Parade

with No Comments

Yesterday the team was honored to march in the Kenilworth Memorial Day Parade (held this weekend so that the local Boy Scouts can have a three-day campout during the actual Memorial Day weekend.) There are now dozens of children who know a lot more about solar power and engineering than they did before Sunday. Add to that the free hot dogs and cotton candy, and I’d say the day was an overwhelming success.

Most frequently asked questions at the parade:

“Did you build that?” (Yes.)
“How fast can it go?” (About 65 mph.)
“How much does it weigh?” (About 600 pounds.)
“Look at that space ship!” (Not a question, but I heard a Girl Scout exclaim this.)
